I was thinking of what it might be like to experience the reverse of a phantom sensation. What would it be like to have a limb--something that is so naturally a part of you--that was abruptly stripped from your body, return or be restored. Would it fit and feel the same as the original? would it be painful or would you experience the opposite of the phantom limb sensation, a euphoric sensation?
Could it be comparable to the separation of a dear friend or loved one.
